Current services
With the easing of lockdown restrictions, Koomarri's services are returning to normal.
We will continue to implement a range of measures to reduce the risk of transmission including:
- Mask wearing
- Cleaning and hygiene measures
- Physical distancing (including complying with the ACT Government density limits)
- Mandatory use of the Check-In CBR App
- Improved ventilation

The resilience of our participants, families and staff has been nothing short of amazing as everyone has adapted to changes in routines and the delivery of supports in different ways. A huge thanks from the entire Koomarri family to everyone for their support.
Staff vaccinations
The health and wellbeing of the entire Koomarri family is our priority. We know that vaccination against COVID-19 remains our best defence and as we re-open our services we want to make sure that we are doing everything possible to ensure we are managing the risks to service users and staff.
Therefore, Koomarri has made the decision to require all staff to receive the COVID-19 vaccine as a condition of employment.
We have had an incredibly positive response from staff and I am pleased to report that we now have 100% of active Koomarri staff who have either commenced or completed the vaccination schedule. You can be assured that your support workers, and any Koomarri staff you may come into contact with, have received the vaccination. This decision demonstrates our commitment to the people we support and their families.
