Nadine has extensive experience working in disability, aged care and the community sector. She has been involved in direct service provision for people with disability as well as working in both federal and ACT government on broader policy and program reform agendas.
Jawad Hayder
Executive Director, Corporate Services and CFO
Jawad is a Chartered Accountant (CAANZ) with 15 years of accounting and finance experience in the commercial and not-for-profit sectors. He has a track record of leading the finance function in multiple complex environments, both nationally and internationally. Complementing his accounting and finance credentials is Jawad’s inclusive and consultative leadership and management approach. He is committed to the mentoring and development of people to benefit their personal growth and productivity.
Alex Rubio
Manager People, Culture and Compliance
Alex is a dedicated professional with a strong background in education, quality assurance, and organisational compliance. Originally from Chicago, Alex relocated to Australia in 2012 and began her career in the education and care sector. Joining Koomarri in 2016, Alex became a key advocate for best practices and compliance, ensuring organisational policies align with industry standards and regulatory requirements. In 2019, Alex played a pivotal role in supporting Koomarri’s successful registration with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, demonstrating her versatility and commitment to excellence.
In her most recent position, Alex has been managing People, Culture, and Compliance, working closely with operations to ensure the organisation is supported in key areas that promote quality services and achieve positive outcomes for service users. She is passionate about providing sound advice for good governance and risk management, as well as developing internal training programs and reporting processes that strengthen compliance and foster understanding of critical safeguards across the organisation.
After taking a break to raise her two young children, Alex has returned to Koomarri with renewed energy and dedication. She lives by the values that underpin Koomarri’s mission and is enthusiastic about supporting its vision into the future.
